Where are you located?
Our headquarters are in Portland, Maine. Despite our New England location, we are frequently on the road visiting districts and
schools throughout the country. We built and moved into our current facility in 2004; it contains our administrative, sales,
editorial, art and customer service offices, along with a significant digital printing facility.
I sent mail to "321 Valley Street" and it has been returned.
Our correct mailing address is no longer "321 Valley Street" nor "PO Box 658". Our correct mailing address is Walch Education,
40 Walch Drive, Portland, Maine, 04103.
I have an idea for a book.How do I submit it to you?

Does Walch Education sell at the elementary school level?
Our materials and programs primarily target grades 5-12 and select adult markets.
Some of my books say "J. Weston Walch," some say "Walch Publishing," and some say "Walch Education."
What's the difference?
All three names refer to the same company and publishing tradition. Up until 2002 we published under the name of
"J. Weston Walch, Publisher." In that year, we began publishing as "Walch Publishing," and in 2008 as "Walch Education."

Why are certain books, or types of books, no longer in your catalog or on your web site?
All publishers constantly examine the mix of books and programs they offer, to ensure that produced materials meet
the market's interests. Occasionally, we discontinue certain books or series if we find that there is limited interest in them.
Where do you print your books?
Virtually all of our materials are printed right at our headquarters facility in Portland, Maine, on our digital presses.
Digital printing gives us the ability to produce short or specific runs with very quick turn-around.
